Jane Cords O'Hara

Born and raised in Ireland, cellist Jane Cords-O’Hara recently moved to the Twin Cities. For the last 12 years she has been freelancing and teaching in New York City. She is a member of The Knights Chamber Orchestra, with whom she recently performed at the Ojai, Tanglewood, Ravinia and Caramoor Festivals, as well as recording albums on the Sony Classical label. In 2004, she was selected to participate in a Carnegie Hall Workshop with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble.
